Elizabeth Arellano

Elizabeth Arellano is an associate attorney at Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP.  Elizabeth is passionate about her work and takes pride in assisting clients in one of the most important moments of their lives.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she was a senior staff member for the University of San Francisco Law Review. Outside of school, Elizabeth focused on gaining real-life experience through clerkships. She interned for Honorable L. Michael Clark in Santa Clara County’s Juvenile Dependency Court. Elizabeth was a law clerk in a boutique family law firm in Santa Clara County, where she worked closely with attorneys and gained practical legal experience in the area of family law.  Elizabeth also externed at the Supreme Court of California, working in the chambers of Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye. There, Elizabeth gained valuable experience and insight into the judicial process making, all while honing her writing and researching skills.

Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth attended the University of California, Davis, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science and Chicano/a Studies. During this time, she was an intern for the Self-help/Family Law Facilitator in Alameda County where she assisted self-represented litigants in custody, support and divorce matters. It was here Elizabeth discovered her passion for working with families and children.

Elizabeth is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Alameda County. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her family.
