Andrew Ross is Managing Partner of the law firm of Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP. He is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by The State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, since 1994. Andy is a hardworking, seasoned professional, with a compassionate perspective and has a unique ability to assist clients in navigating through the many challenges of California divorce, including those with complex property issues, valuable business interests, complicated separate property issues, emotional custody disputes, establishment and modification of child and spousal support, and other aspects of California family law. He is a quick study, able to define issues and options for settlement resulting in reduced negative impact, wherever possible. In high conflict cases, where litigation is required, Andy has significant trial experience and is a knowledgeable litigator.
Among Andy’s accomplishments is his inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers® – an achievement he has attained every year since its 2004 inception. He was also designated on the Top 100 Attorneys list in Northern California Super Lawyers® in 2008 and 2009. In addition, he was proudly selected by his peers for inclusion in “The Best Lawyers in America” in the specialty of Family Law for the years 2008 through 2014. He acted as Judge Pro Tem for the Santa Clara County Municipal Court in 1980 through 1984 and for the Contra Costa County Superior Court in 1997 through 2009. Andy was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has lived in the Bay Area for more than 30 years.
