Alexcis Wichtowski is a partner with the law firm of Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP. She practices family law exclusively and prides herself on being able to listen to her clients, identify their goals, and to guide them through the family law process. Alexcis represents her clients with competence, confidence, and compassion. She believes that everyone should be fully informed of their rights and obligations under the law before making important decisions that will impact them, or their children, for the rest of their lives. Alexcis is well versed in all areas of family law and is at her best when she is advocating for her clients both in and out of the courtroom.

Alexcis is a Certified Family Law Specialist and in 2012 she received the State Bar’s Wiley C. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Services for her dedication in providing access to justice to California’s indigent and low-income residents. Alexcis is a former member of the  Alameda County Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee and she currently sits on the Governing Committee of the Alameda County Lawyer Referral Service. In keeping with her commitment to providing access to justice, Alexcis is a frequent volunteer in both the Contra Costa County and Alameda County Superior Court family law courtrooms where she assists the Court in drafting orders after hearing and advising self-represented litigants on their next steps. She also volunteers as a settlement commissioner to assist self-represented litigants in settling their cases and completing their Judgments.

In 2020, Alexcis was instrumental in reinstating the Alameda County Bar Association’s annual Family Law Bootcamp, a program designed to train lawyers new to the practice of family law. In addition to sitting on the committee planning the Family Law Bootcamp, Alexcis partnered with a retired Alameda County Family Law Commissioner to teach the seminar on child and spousal support and now serves as a mentor to new family law practitioners who have completed the Family Law Bootcamp program.

Since 2016, Alexcis has been selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers® Rising Stars List, which is comprised of attorneys who are age 40 or younger, in practice for 10 years or less, and have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Less than 2.5 percent of attorneys in Northern California are named to Rising Stars.

Alexcis was born and raised in the Sonoma County wine country. When not advocating for her clients you can find her running obstacle races and enjoying a cup of coffee.
