Laura R. Ramsey is of counsel to the law firm of Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP. Her practice is focused exclusively on family law, representing clients through all phases of family law litigation from initial consultation, to discovery and disclosure requirements, to settlement proceedings and if necessary, through trial. Laura represents parties in sophisticated and complex matters before private judicial officers and in the public courthouses in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Laura approaches each case with an eye for logical, practical, and efficient resolution all while keeping a competitive edge.
Laura is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Each year since 2013 Laura has been selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers® List.
In addition to representing clients through negotiation and litigation, Laura is a certified mediator, having completed the Mediating Disputes Program at Harvard Law School.
Laura began practicing family law in Orange County, California, prior to moving back to the Bay Area in 2010 where she was born and raised. She now resides in Colorado with her husband, a residential architect, their daughter, twin sons, and their French bulldog, Eiffel. Laura is available to clients remotely via Zoom and other platforms, as well as in person, as needed.
