Sarah A. Thompson

Sarah Thompson is a dedicated and compassionate associate with the firm and practices exclusively family law.  Ms. Thompson has assisted in cases involving both separate and community property reimbursement claims, business valuations, and spousal support.

Ms. Thompson actively engages in public service, including volunteer work at the San Francisco SPCA. She is also a volunteer attorney with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice and Diversity Center, helping with family law cases.

Ms. Thompson attended Villanova University and majored in sociology.  At the University of San Francisco School of Law, she focused on public service, interning at Legal Advocates for Children and Youth and the San Francisco City Attorney Office.  She served young clients in dependency, domestic violence, and probate guardianship cases. She also participated in USF’s Juvenile and Criminal Justice Clinic, assisting clients with misdemeanor cases. Before joining the firm, Ms. Thompson practiced in finance, as a Junior Compliance Counsel at Sequoia Capital.

Ms. Thompson is from Orange County and currently resides in San Francisco.  When not practicing law, she enjoys yoga, boot camps, reading, and exploring the Bay Area in hopes of finding the perfect green tea latte.

Anna Bednarczyk Receives 2017 Distinguished Service Award

Congratulations to Anna M. Bednarczyk, who received the 2017 Distinguished Service Award for an Attorney from the Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA). Anna is an active member of the ACBA Family Law Section, a mentor for new attorneys, and the Chair of the ACBA’s Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) Governing Committee.
