Ania is the 2016-2017 Chair of the Alameda County Bar Association (“ACBA”) Lawyer Referral Service Governing Committee, which screens attorney applicants to ensure that members of the public are matched with qualified, insured attorneys with the appropriate experience and qualifications.

She is the Secretary and member of the ACBA Family Law Executive Committee, which plans and prepares legal training programs for family law attorneys.

In 2016, Ania presented a class for new and transitioning attorneys, entitled “Intro to Practice Area Series: Family Law,” which class served to provide attorneys with an overview of the family law legal system. Prior to joining Whiting, Fallon, Ross & Abel, LLP as an associate attorney, Ania was an active volunteer in the Alameda County Superior Court “Day of Court” program, which volunteer work assisted Family Court Judges with their unrepresented litigant calendars.

In 2014, Ania won the Honorable Barbara Lee Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition Award for her pro bono work in the area of family law. That same year, Ania also received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services Award for her work as a pro bono attorney.
